LAVA local correlations provided further evidence of mixed effect directions across mental disorders (fig. 2). This was most evident between schizophrenia and MD (35 positively/9 negatively correlated loci), although even schizophrenia and BIP were found to share a mixture of effect directions despite strong positive rg (123 positively/5 negatively correlated loci). Local correlations for schizophrenia and ADHD were not consistent with MiXeR estimated mixed effect directions (10 positively correlated loci).
