A wide range of psychopathological disorders have been shown to be potential sequelae of child abuse and neglect including conduct disorder, antisocial personality disorder, and disruptive behavior disorders, known more broadly as internalizing disorders including depression, anxiety diagnoses, and post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as personality dysfunction (Jaffee et al., 2005; Kaplow & Widom, 2007; Widom, DuMont, & Czaja, 2007).
