HFs were cultured on plates treated with 0.1% gelatin (in milli Q water) for a minimum of 30 minutes and grown in HF media (DMEM (Invitrogen), 10% FBS (Gemini), 1x Glutamax (Invitrogen), 5 ng/ml FGF2 (Invitrogen)).
