Pair-wise Pearson’s correlations were used to examine the similarity between the Combined-PC1 and the regional pattern of case-control differences. As controls from UKB and ENIGMA-Addiction were used to derive the Combined-PC1, to ensure the independence of the Combined-PC1, a sensitivity analysis was performed by correlating alcohol dependence effects with the Combined-PC1 derived without controls from UKB and ENIGMA-Addiction.
