Alcohol use impacts health and disease across the lifespan. Especially relevant to the aging population, emerging evidence suggests that alcohol use is a potential risk factor for AD and other forms of dementia. The purpose of the present study was to test aspects of the overall hypothesis that alcohol use exacerbates the onset and magnitude of AD-like pathology.
