analysis of omega-3 fatty acids using relative risks from randomised trials reduced the attributable burden by more than half, to 0·6 million (–0·6 million to 1·7 million) deaths, and 0·5% (−0·5 to 1·4) of global DALYs in 2010. Physical inactivity and low physical activity accounted for 3·2 million (2·7 million to 3·7 million) deaths, and 2·8% (2·4–3·2) of DALYs in 2010.
