Wildtype mice exhibited normal long-term ORM (as measured by preference for the novel object over the familiar object and calculated as the discrimination index). Both the BAF53bΔHD high and low expressing lines had significantly reduced discrimination indices compared to the wildtype littermates (Fig. 2E). Baf53b+/− het mice also showed significant long-term ORM deficits (Fig. 2F). In contrast, short-term ORM (tested at 90 min) was normal in BAF53bΔHD mice (Supplemental Fig. S3E) and Baf53b+/− het mice as compared to respective wildtype littermates (Supplemental Fig. S3F).
