CI = -0.02-0.14; father r = 0.02, 95% CI = -0.07-0.11). These findings suggest that parent-child resemblance on externalizing disorders is almost entirely attributable to genetic transmission. We also tested whether the general transmission effects differed by mother and father. Equating the mother and father general transmission effects did not result in a higher BIC value (see Table 1) indicating the correlations were not significantly different from each other.
