As within Study 1, the chemosensory stimuli were difficult to detect. No participant was able to detect all of the four olfactory stimuli (Table 1). The detection rates did not significantly vary with the chemosensory condition, the sex of the sweat donor (binomial tests), or with the sex of the perceiver (Fisher test). As the chemosensory stimuli were not detectable for most of the participants, odor ratings were not analyzed.
