Text

In supplementary analyses that included all covariate × environment and covariate × genotype interaction terms, the interaction between life events and GABRA2 was attenuated in the parental antisocial behavior model (p = 0.13), but not in the parental alcohol dependence symptoms model (p = .10). These results are summarized as Model 3 in Tables 8 and 9. In a series of exploratory analyses we examined whether sex further modified the interaction between life events and GABRA2. There was no evidence for a three-way interaction among sex, life events, and GABRA2 (p values for the three-way interaction effect were 0.96 and 0.90 in models controlling for parental antisocial behavior and parental alcohol dependence symptoms, respectively).
