Text

The microarray data sets were analyzed using the z-score transformation normalization method [20], in which log-transformed and normalized hybridization intensity values provided the basis for p-value-based significance calculations by a z-test. Two-tailed p-values were used to identify transcripts with decreased or increased expression, respectively. Individual z-ratio data represent a normalized ratio between experimental and control cases.
