In addition, while this work was under review, a replication study using the Irish Case–Control Study of Schizophrenia (ICCSS) sample reported a one-tailed P-value of 0.011 (OR= 1.20) based on a unique group of 993 cases and 570 controls.23 Taken together, the ISC, MGS and ICCSS reports are consistent with an association between rs1344706[T] and schizophrenia, and they also provide additional support for that conclusion.
