Eating Attitudes Test [Garner et al., 1982]; (2) had a first degree relative with an eating disorder; or (3) had any of the following as defined by the presence of an Axis I disorder on the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-IV (SCID) Screen Patient Questionnaire [First et al., 1997]: mood disorders, anxiety disorders, alcohol dependence and abuse, other substance dependence and abuse, somatoform disorders, eating disorders, and schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders. Participants in the control group completed the same battery of self-report assessments as probands, which covered personality and symptom measures.
