We also mapped the DISC1 domain(s) involved in KIAA1212-DISC1 association. We generated a series of HA-tagged deletion mutants of DISC1 (Figure S4C) and co-expressed them with KIAA1212 in HEK293 cells. Co-IP results suggested that both CT and MD domains of DISC1 are involved in association with KIAA1212 in the same protein complex (Figure S4D). Taken together, these results indicate a direct and complex interaction between DISC1 and KIAA1212 through multiple domains.
