The interaction between alc-PRS and social support from friends was significant in young adulthood but not significant in emerging or middle adulthood; the interaction effect significantly differed between young adulthood and middle adulthood (χ2 = 6.85, df = 1, p = .009) but did not differ significantly between emerging and young adulthood (χ2 = 2.18, df = 1, p = .140) or between emerging and middle adulthood (χ2 = .57, df = 1, p = .452).
