analysis (GSEA) explicitly focusing on the GO biological process terms unique to high-PRS microglial cells. In addition to the terms related to antigen processing and presentation via the MHCII protein complex, this analysis uncovered significant enrichment of terms related to the regulation of phagocytosis (Fig. 4, E and F). This observation underscores the impact of ethanol on antigen presentation, a critical process closely tied to phagocytosis, which encompasses the uptake, processing, and presentation of antigens to initiate adaptive immune responses.
