For women in both cohorts, history of abortion is strongly associated with AD [Cohort I: Odds Ratio (OR) = 3.94, 95% CI: 2.72 - 5.72; Cohort II: OR = 3.16, 95% CI: 2.18 – 4.59]. However, abortion is not a significant predictor of reproductive timing [Cohort I: χ2 (df) = 3.95 (1), p =.05; Cohort II: χ2 (df) =.46 (1), p =.50].
