Analysis of individual coherence trajectories by themselves cannot determine the degree of relatedness between the parallel trajectories which constitute the bulk of the results. Clearly the tensorial analysis using MDS suggests a more complex developmental process than the bipartite age divisions given by the description of the means and variances of the coherence values by themselves. The MDS results suggest an initial stage of concerted development from age 14 to 18, a complex reorganization from age 18 to 25, and a period of stabilization after age 25. The tensorial analysis using GLA indicates age 18 as an important transition point. Some aspects of the GLA plots suggest a change in the relation between anterior and posterior subsystems at that transition.
