Overall, SI and SA were considerably more common in those reporting early substance use (Supplemental Table S2), while substance use and dependence were more common in those with a prior history of SI and SA (Supplemental Table S3). A matrix of the tetrachoric correlations between all measures is presented in Supplemental Table S4.
