The present study represents an initial assessment of cross-frequency functional connectivity in AUD by comparing PAC estimates from those with severe AUD to age-matched groups of unaffected participants. The primary objective was to identify PA domains that appear to be sensitive to AUD status to provide specific domains of interest to target in future studies and more generally characterize PAC activity recorded from frontomedial brain regions that include the mPFC.
