In a multivariable regression model that included having at least one parent with a history of mental health problems as a binary indicator variable and that adjusted for multiple attempt history, SIQ-JR, and CAFAS, the parental history effect on time-to-attempt remained significant (HR = 2.22, 95% CI: 1.23–4.00, p = .008).
