These measures are applicable to many different types of arrays that measure signal intensities across genome, including array-CGH, SNP genotyping arrays and whole-genome oligonucleotide arrays. Since the magnitude of genomic waves is highly correlated with GC content, we utilize the GCWF in our subsequent analyses.
