Associations between APOEε4 and EEGc intercept and slope are displayed in Table 2. In females, we found that APOEε4 was negatively associated with RFC EEGc intercept (ß= −0.08, p = 0.024) and positively associated with RFC EEGc slope (ß= 0.04, p = 0.021). In males, APOEε4 was significantly negatively associated with intercept (ß= −0.10, p = 0.005) and positively associated with slope of LFC EEGc (ß= 0.06, p = 0.004). We also examined interactions between childhood trauma variables and APOEε4 on intercept and slope of EEGc, which are displayed in Supplementary Table 2. Although some interaction effects were nominally significant, these associations were no longer significant after correcting for multiple testing (Benjamini & Hochberg, 1995).
