For the sequential method in the forward direction, increases in the CSF-filled volumes were significant in four of the five ROIs: lateral ventricles (p=.0017), temporal horn (p=.0006), cortical sulci (p=.0001), and sylvian fissures (p=.0038); the enlargement of the third ventricle was not significant (p=.1300). For the independent method, although all CSF ROIs increased over time, three did so significantly: lateral ventricles (p=.0014), cortical sulci (p=.0030), and sylvian fissures (p=.0038); the enlargement of neither the third ventricle (p=.0420) nor temporal horns (p=.1971) was significant.
