Residuals were strongly correlated at all occasions and showed an increasing trend through ages 13 to 17 (0.239 at age 13, 0.455 at age 15, and 0.648 at age 18). Strong residual correlation indicated that alcohol use and antisocial behavior were still associated with each other after accounting for preceding alcohol use and antisocial behavior.
