Third, we expanded in the dimension of cell lines. Well-annotated genetic and small molecule perturbagens were profiled in a core set of 9 cell lines, yielding a reference dataset we refer to as Touchstone v1. Uncharacterized small molecules without known mechanism of action (MOA) were profiled variably across 3 to 77 cell lines, yielding a dataset we refer as Discovery v1 (Table S4).
