Approximately 1,300 individuals previously typed with a microsatellite screen were typed with 4,720 SNPs from the Illumina linkage panel and 11,120 SNPs from the Affymetrix mapping array. These individuals were from 143 pedigrees with an average of 9.5 individuals typed per pedigree (range: 5–27). The sample was 77% White, 13% African American, and 10% from other ethnicities.
