qPCR analyses further demonstrated that HFD suppressed Scd1 in both adipose and muscle tissue, but that there was no effect of Cyp1b1 deletion on either tissue. Pparγ and CD36 expression were not affected by either HFD or Cyp1b1 deletion in these tissues (data not shown).
