RNA was prepared from inguinal fat using the Qiagen RNeasy Mini Kit. Purified RNA was analyzed with the Qiagen RT-PCR Multiplexing system on an ABI Prism 7900. Cyclophilin A was used as the housekeeping gene (See Methods S1).
