Plasma was collected from a cohort of fed Tg 11–16 week old male mice, based on blood glucose values, mice were grouped into 4 groups (N = 6) per genotype such that the average blood glucose levels were similar. Each group was treated with either 10 mg/kg body weight/day of rmuFGF21, muleptin, both or vehicle BID for 15 days. GTTs were performed on the 11th day of treatment (1 hour after dosing). A second fed plasma sample was collected after 15 days of treatment prior to necropsy.
