FoxO1 KODAT mice showed no difference in HFD intake compared with WT littermates (Fig. 4f). Taken together, these results suggest that the difference in reward-related feeding in FoxO1 KODAT mice might not affect the homoeostatic feeding as the total calories intake was unchanged (Fig. 4a,f and Supplementary Fig. 3e), indicating that energy intake might not be the reason for the observed phenotypes in FoxO1 KODAT mice.
