DTI provides another imaging technique for evaluating WM integrity of the CC. Decreases in FA with increases in ADC were observed in the genu and the splenium of the CC of the alcohol-exposed group, compared to controls, findings that point to WM microstructural changes as a result of PEA. Altered FA and ADC did not correlate to any specific neurocognitive deficits154.
