Figure 3, we graphically illustrate, using the predicted values from the linear regression of residualized physical activity on BMI and rs1861868 genotype, that the difference in BMI across rs1861868 genotypes is large in less physically active individuals but small and not statistically significant in more physically active individuals. The impact of increased physical activity on BMI reduction is most apparent for individuals with the rs1861868 AA genotype.
