The prevalence of past-year DSM-IV marijuana use disorder among users was 35.6% in 2001–2002 and 30.6% in 2012–2013, a significant decrease (Table 3). In addition, decreases were found in almost all population subgroups, although significant only in some, including men, those aged 18 to 29 years, white individuals, black individuals, those never married, those in the mid-income range, those in urban areas, and those in the Northeast and Midwest.
