Text

We first assessed the degree of correlation between factor scores derived from different reporters. Scores were significantly correlated across all factors (p<0.01 for all pairwise comparisons), with the lowest correlations between self-reported and teacher-reported behavioral measures; these correlations ranged from 0.19 to 0.35. Correlations between maternal and teacher reports generally exceeded 0.5. This variation in correlations among reporters could be due to the difference in age ranges used for each reporter (see Materials and Methods). In addition, factor scores on the two component scales were significantly correlated within each reporter (r=0.808 for maternal reports, r=0.778 for teacher reports, and r=0.622 for self reports; p<0.001 for all correlations).
