Text

The fast potassium current has been shown to be related to the A-type potassium channels.54 We measured the fast potassium current by the maximum current immediately following a depolarization step, typically within a time window of a few milliseconds. The slow potassium currents were obtained at the end of the 400 ms depolarization step and have been shown to be related to the delayed rectifier potassium channels.54
