Text

For results from a study to be included in a particular meta-analysis, we required a minimum of 50 individuals to be phenotyped for all variables in the model and that the resulting | β | < 10 (corresponding to odds ratios (OR) between 1/20 000 and 20 000). Of the results that satisfied both the minimum sample size and restriction on β, all of the OR for the interaction terms were within the more reasonable range of 1/20 to 20.
