Similarly, for a fixed genotype at locus 3, the coded allele at locus 1 increases risk (e.g. column 1 of the table, corresponding to the stratum of RR homozygotes at locus 3). Thus for each locus, the effect seen in the joint, 2-SNP logistic regression is confirmed in the most informative stratum at the other locus.
