Animal facilities were accredited by the American Association of Laboratory Animal Care (AALAC), and all procedures were approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) at the University of South Carolina. All animals were housed in the animal colony of the Department of Psychology at the University of South Carolina. The colony was maintained at 22°C with a 12:12 hr light: dark cycle, with the light beginning at 0700 h.
