Selenium binding protein 1 (Selenbp1), which is suppressed by PPARα activation [52], is increased by Cyp1b1 deletion. Several selenium binding proteins function collectively to regulate liver oxidative stress, which is associated with PPARα activity. Other genes that show reversal of PPARα suppression in Cyp1b1-ko mice include Nudt7 [53] and various Cyp2c forms [54].
