using a meta‐analytic approach for each of six major psychiatric disorders (ASD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, OCD, and schizophrenia). Currently, there are 12,006 cases and 14,842 controls contributing to these profiles. The goal of the project is to characterize cell types within the human cortex (neurons [pyramidal cells and interneurons] and glia [astrocytes, microglia, oligodendrocytes]) in which gene expression is correlated with differences in cortical thickness across disorders, in the hope of illustrating common and/or unique neurobiological correlates between these disorders.
