to the network weight regression led to a significant increase (P < 10−10) in AUPRC compared with using just the default network selections in human (median non-zero change in AUPRC was an increase of 0.0078). In terms of software validation, we continue to use unit and functional tests, a modern bug tracking system (Trac) and test GeneMANIA on all major browsers (although we have dropped support for Internet Explorer 7). Beta versions of our next release are posted for external testing at http://beta.genemania.org, and we have a mechanism for user feedback (See Table 2).
