Subgroup comparison tests using stacked modelling procedures were also employed to consider whether the magnitude of parameter estimates in each model were significantly different for boys and girls. Samples of 100 cases per subgroup are regarded as a minimum sample size for such tests and these criteria were met (Ping, 1998).
