al., 1994; [7] Smith et al., 2006; [8] Huang et al., 2006; [9] Grant et al., 2015) though analysis over different age groups suggests that a different developmental course may characterize AUDs in African-Americans, with relatively later onset of disorders in comparison to EA groups ([10] Grant et al., 2012; [5] Vasilenko et al., 2017; [11] Liu and Mulia, 2018). It must be borne in mind that these rates are a moving target and there is evidence for relative increases of AUD in women and AA subjects compared to EA males over recent years ([12] Grant et al., 2017).
