Results of four logistic regression models examining associations between parent AUD and physical, sexual, non-assaultive trauma, and witnessed violence are presented for White youth in Table 2. Among White youth, female sex and parental alcohol status were positively associated with increased odds of sexual assault, and female sex was associated with reduced likelihood of physical assault, non-assaultive trauma, and witnessed violence. The odds of experiencing sexual assault were three times higher when the mother only was affected by AUD compared to odds when neither parent was affected and also differed significantly from estimates for affected fathers-only. Mother AUD, father AUD, and both parents being affected by AUD were all significantly associated with increased likelihoods of physical assault and witnessed violence. There was no significant association of parental AUD with non-assaultive trauma.
