Of the 20 GICA components, 4 were identified as SN, ECN, and DMN15,17 and were thresholded for display at z = 3.5 (Figure 1). The ECN was decomposed into 2 strongly lateralized components, an observation commonly reported34,38 and referred to as the left ECN (LECN) and right ECN (RECN). Spatial cross-correlation between these networks and previous results34 revealed a high degree of similarity, with a mean r = 0.55 (range, 0.37-0.65).
