(liking) from alcohol was also higher in the AUD+ [group, p=0.017] and this effect increased through re-examination, but the escalation was not statistically significant [group x phase, p=0.104]. Finally, both groups showed increases in alcohol-induced sedation, but this effect did not differ by group or test phase [group x phase, p>0.385]. Re-analyzing the data based on DSM-IV alcohol dependence yielded similar results.
