Measures were binned in 2-year age intervals to stabilize estimation, and the minimum baseline age (intercept) was 18 for Freq, gEtOH, and Heavy, and 24 for PassOut, since this was assessed in the 1981 and later questionnaires but not the 1975 questionnaire.
