The 11 men reported on here were themselves subsequently followed-up during the next five-year family evaluation, and, thus, have data on the baseline drinking characteristics and alcohol challenges, and filled out the retrospective self-report SRE measure. Additional offspring are scheduled for follow-up in the next five years. For both sets, the outcome measure was drawn from the follow-up SSAGA interviews, and consisted of the alcohol intake in the prior six months.
