ITT analysis revealed a group effect favoring the intervention group in parent report of reduced child oppositional-defiant behaviors from ages 2 to 5 in the intervention group compared with the control group, B = −.150, p < .05, in which χ2(7) = 20.14, p <.01, CFI = .987, TLI = .981, RMSEA = .051. Cohen’s d was used to calculate the effect size of the intervention group compared with that of the control group from ages 2 to 5 and revealed a modest effect size (d = .30). Similarly, intervention group assignment significantly predicted lower levels of teacher-reported oppositional behavior at age 7.5, with a small effect size, B = −.129, p < .05, model just identified; d = .26.
